We talk of coping today, increasing emotional resilience and understanding the other person’s POV before reacting, but is it at all possible? Or is it all circumstantial?

What if the circumstances compel you to react in ways which may not be termed “rational?” Would you be in the wrong?

Complicated right?

So how do we ensure that the circumstances leave us unperturbed and do not influence our behaviour for worse?

It is possible if all the entities involved are mindful of their thoughts and emotions. They allow only those thoughts to manifest into a behaviour which is not unpleasant and keeps the environment conducive.

It requires effort from all and a single person’s behaviour will not make much difference.

If all contribute through mindfulness we would not have to put in effort to cope emotionally or fake being pleasant.

After all, it’s only a conducive environment which brings out the best in us. So why not enable it?

Do you agree?

P.S. Thank you for reading.
